I love the springtime. The beauty of the colors are astounding. I wait on spring expectantly every year. One of my favorite parts of spring is to see the new, beautiful, bright green leaves of the trees juxtaposed next to the clear blue sky. Spring is a fleeting time and I do not want to miss it. I long to be outside and enjoy all of the colors. It is truly hard to be indoors. I want to enjoy spring’s presence. Spring seizes me and I do not want to be distracted by anything else. I want to sink into springs beauty and enjoy it fully. My prayer is to be this way with the Lord one day. But I get distracted. He was showing me that when we are at a wedding, we all anticipate the moment when the doors are thrown open and the bride enters the chapel. We all rise to see the beauty of the bride. We would not miss that moment for anything. We would not be distracted, but our attention is fully on her. We want to enjoy her beauty and the moment, for like spring, it is fleeting. Lord, May our attention be on You. May we not get distracted. May we fully enjoy Your Presence and beauty like spring. Amen

I love the springtime. The beauty of the colors are astounding. I wait on spring expectantly every year.
