I created this piece for a friend of mine and her husband who were going through a very difficult time. The painting is about the ebb and flow of life which is represented by the water. We are not in control. The Lord is. He commands the wind and waves. The large angel represents an angel who the Lord has placed to watch over them and protect them. All of the doves, seen and hidden, represent the Holy Spirit. God never abandons us. He is with us and for us. He is faithful to us and surrounds us with angels to protect and guard us. He has given us His Spirit through His Son, Jesus Christ to accompany us and always be with us.
